WHO WE ARE

In 2018, Kieron Moore led a group of LGBTQ+ filmmakers on the mid-length film Spectrum, which told intersecting stories set over one night on Manchester's Canal Street.

After Spectrum had a successful run of screenings and launched on multiple streaming services, in 2021 Kieron set up Weird Rainbow Films.

In 2022, we shot our first feature film, Secrets of a Wallaby Boy. It will be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, in the UK and US, from 28th October.

Our ethos is to celebrate queer identities while proving that these stories don't always have to be serious and issues-based – gays deserve silly comedy too! – and while maintaining an indie filmmaking spirit.
